I wanted to see how good AI editing has actually gotten.
So I took a podcast, uploaded it to Vmaker AI, and made one rule for myself:
I wasn't allowed to edit a single thing.
1. No trimming.
2. No changing captions.
3. No moving cuts.
4. No reframing.
Whatever the AI generated... that's what I reviewed.
In this video, I go through all five clips and explain why they worked for me. From where the clips start, to speaker tracking, storytelling, clip ranking, and filler removal, I break down everything Vmaker AI did automatically.
By the end, you'll know whether I'd actually post these clips without making any manual edits.

Fostering interaction and feedback from your listeners can enhance engagement and improve your podcast’s content. Invite listeners to share their thoughts, questions, and suggestions through various channels such as social media, email, or your podcast’s website. Incorporate listener feedback into your episodes by addressing common questions or discussing popular topics, making your audience feel valued and involved. Create opportunities for interaction, such as Q&A sessions, polls, or live recordings, to further engage your listeners. Responding to comments and acknowledging feedback builds a strong community around your podcast, encouraging loyalty and word-of-mouth promotion.
Providing transcriptions of your podcast episodes can significantly enhance accessibility and reach a broader audience. Transcriptions cater to individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, ensuring that your content is inclusive. They also benefit listeners who prefer reading over listening or want to reference specific parts of an episode quickly. Additionally, transcriptions improve your podcast’s SEO, as search engines can index the text, making your content more discoverable. Offering transcriptions on your website or as downloadable files adds value for your audience and demonstrates your commitment to accessibility. Incorporating transcriptions into your podcast strategy can lead to increased engagement and a more diverse listener base.
Vary episode formats, explore new topics, invite diverse guests, and stay updated with industry trends. Regularly brainstorming and planning can keep your content innovative and engaging.
Outline key points to stay organized, use conversational language, and practice speaking naturally. This approach ensures coherence while maintaining an authentic and engaging tone.
Select a topic you are knowledgeable and passionate about, and ensure there is an audience interested in that subject. A specific niche helps attract dedicated listeners.
Use a quality microphone, record in a quiet environment, and apply noise reduction techniques during editing. Proper microphone placement and soundproofing can also significantly enhance audio clarity.
Respond to listener feedback, encourage comments and questions, create interactive content, and build a community through social media or dedicated platforms to foster a loyal listener base.
Produce high-quality content regularly, interact with listeners, leverage social media, optimize for search engines, and seek reviews and ratings to increase visibility and attract new listeners.
Utilizing social proof in your podcast marketing builds credibility and attracts new listeners by showcasing the impact and reach of your show. Start by featuring testimonials and reviews from satisfied listeners on your podcast website, social media profiles, and promotional materials. Highlight endorsements from notable guests or industry experts who have appeared on your podcast, demonstrating its value and reputation. Share metrics such as download numbers, listener growth, and engagement rates to provide tangible evidence of your podcast’s success. Display badges or certifications from recognized podcast directories or awards to further establish trust. Additionally, showcase social media mentions and user-generated content related to your podcast, reinforcing its popularity and influence. Social proof serves as a powerful tool to convince potential listeners of your podcast’s quality and encourage them to tune in.
